Carriage House

Belonging to the art collector Adam Lindemann, this house in Manhattan designed by David Adjaye was a revelation to cover. It took two visits, one to shoot purely the architecture, and the other with art and furnishings. A giant sized Paul McCarthy sculpture was in the main gallery hall, along with a Butterfly painting by Hirst in the room to the rear of the house. I became like a child in a candy store, experiencing the plethora of subject matter to work with. The result was a David Adjaye book published by Rizzoli titled ‘A House For An Art Collector’ featuring the work we produced.
